HRCSLENGAGES STRIKING DOCTORS

As part of its mandate of protecting and promoting the rights of all, the Human Rights Commission of Sierra Leone (HRCSL) today 20th April 2021 met with a cross-section of executive members of the Junior Doctors Association of Sierra Leone, Sierra Leone Medical and Dental Association and the Sierra Leone Medical Women’s Association at its office. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the ongoing strike action and assist with mediation between the parties and the Ministry of Health so that the right to health of patients nationwide is protected and the concerns of the striking doctors are addressed.
